Last week, we completed the first build of our game. We combined out individual components to create it. We only have one level so far. The environment is the same except there are also shopping carts and large and small hand sanitizers. The environment has a NavMesh baked on it for the free-roaming AI enemy. It goes to random spots in the grocery store and stops for a couple of seconds before moving to another random position. The player can walk with AWSD, sprint by pressing Shift, and jump by pressing Space. The player can pick up the toilet paper by pressing E and collect hand sanitizers by walking over them. There isn't a walking animation for our characters, but it will be implemented if time permits. We have a game control implemented, so the player wins if they bring the toilet paper to the self-checkout without getting hit too much. The UI has the controls, instructions, and win condition message. If the player loses, the game restarts.
